Our Story
A tiny restaurant with a big personality, tucked into an 1806 stone building on Church Street.
What started as a dream in a beautiful 1806 building has become Lancashire's premier destination for cheese and wine lovers.
Mickii and Lynette Edwards opened The Tipsy Cows as a husband-and-wife team, pouring every weekend into a three-night-a-week ritual: small-batch cheese, hand-picked wine, and a downstairs cellar that doubles as a private booth.
Mickii is a Wales rugby league international, an English Channel swimmer, an ultra-runner and ex-military. Lynette is the warm welcome that keeps guests coming back, running the room, the cellar and the Tipsy hampers business.

Hyndburn Business Award
Proud winners of the Hyndburn Business Award, recognised for our hospitality and community impact across Great Harwood and the wider Hyndburn area. A proud moment for our little 1806 bar and the whole team behind it.
