The Dockhouse Boys were asked to attend the YEDS supporters group trip to visit former Oldham RLFC player Mickii Edwards, at his Wine and Gin Bar Tipsy Cows in Great Harwood.
The former scrum half turned prop was presented with his original playing jersey, his heritage number and some other treats from the Oldham fans. The night saw interviews with Mickii and some other former players, a presentation and then some partying into the late hours.
This special event showcased the strong community bonds and recognition of Mickii's contributions both on and off the field, bringing together sports fans and community supporters in celebration.
