Our Story

A tiny restaurant with a big personality, tucked into an 1806 stone building on Church Street.

Cheese, Wine & Great Harwood

What started as a dream in a beautiful 1806 building has become Lancashire's premier destination for cheese and wine lovers.

Mickii and Lynette Edwards opened The Tipsy Cows as a husband-and-wife team, pouring every weekend into a three-night-a-week ritual: small-batch cheese, hand-picked wine, and a downstairs cellar that doubles as a private booth.

Mickii is a Wales rugby league international, an English Channel swimmer, an ultra-runner and ex-military. Lynette is the warm welcome that keeps guests coming back, running the room, the cellar and the Tipsy hampers business.
